{"id":9849,"date":"2026-10-13T18:28:42","date_gmt":"2026-10-13T18:28:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/economiainclusiva.net\/?p=9849"},"modified":"2026-10-18T23:04:37","modified_gmt":"2026-10-18T23:04:37","slug":"generative-conversation-on-well-being-and-coexistence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/economiainclusiva.net\/en\/generative-conversation-on-well-being-and-coexistence\/","title":{"rendered":"Generative Conversation on Well-being and coexistence"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Listening in order to flourish together<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On October 1st, we held the second of the <strong>Generative Conversations<\/strong> of the fourth edition of <strong>Incluir para Crecer \u2013 Festival of Inclusive Economy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After exploring biodiversity as an essential condition for life, we came together to deepen another equally important question:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What conditions make it possible for people, communities, and ecosystems to flourish together?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conversation was facilitated by Tania Ram\u00edrez (Uruguay) and featured Sonia Laura Mora (Argentina), Hugues Sygney (United States\/Brazil), and Andrea Carolina P\u00e9rez (Venezuela\/Uruguay) as panelists. More than 70 people from different countries participated, creating a diverse and vibrant ecosystem of conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We arrived to listen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the beginning of the gathering, participants were invited to reflect on a simple question:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What intention am I bringing to this space?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The answers reflected a community arriving with the desire to listen, learn, grow, and build together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Words such as these emerged:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>connection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>healing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>inclusion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>community<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>learning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>curiosity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>coherence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>growth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>love<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>respect<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>deep listening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Coexistence begins in relationships<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the opening, Mercedes Viola revisited the journey the Festival has been building, from the <strong>Community Imagination<\/strong> activation to the <strong>Companies Co-Creating Futures<\/strong> gathering and the previous conversation on Biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One idea that had strongly resonated weeks before reappeared:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Life flourishes through differences and through the relationships that exist among them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And so did a thought-provoking question:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What if, in addition to a climate crisis, we are also experiencing a crisis of relationships?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From there, the conversation unfolded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stories that build bridges<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The journeys shared by the panelists were very different, yet connected by a common thread: the search for dignity, community, and transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From Argentina, Sonia Laura Mora spoke about her work facilitating dialogue circles with incarcerated people. There she discovered something that profoundly transformed her understanding of justice: <strong>Deep listening heals and transforms.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From Uruguay, Andrea Carolina P\u00e9rez shared her experience as a person with autism and as a migrant, describing how she often inhabited spaces that were not designed with people like her in mind. Her reflection highlighted a powerful idea: <strong>When we create accessible spaces for some people, we end up improving life for everyone.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From Haiti, Brazil, and the United States, Hugues Sygney shared a journey deeply connected to community, racial justice, and regenerative leadership. He spoke about the importance of acting with purpose, listening to those who are often invisible, and continually asking: <strong>What impact did I have today?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Relationships take time<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One idea appeared repeatedly throughout the conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We live in a world shaped by speed, productivity, and urgency. In response, several speakers emphasized the need to recover practices that may seem simple, but today are deeply transformative:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>pausing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>listening<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>paying attention<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sustaining difficult conversations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>building trust<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sonia Laura Mora offered a concrete invitation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Listen to another person for five minutes without interrupting, advising, or trying to change them. Simply listen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A simple proposal that generated a strong collective resonance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What remained resonating<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the reflection moments, several themes echoed across countries and experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People spoke of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the feeling of being accompanied<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the importance of listening from the heart<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the power of connection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the need to work collectively<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the search for others with whom to build<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the importance of creating spaces where we can truly be ourselves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many participants expressed something that appeared again and again: <strong>We do not want to keep walking alone.
