Individual wellbeing is inseparable from collective wellbeing. A person who is well, can live inclusion in a more organic way, because he or she knows and feels that a society that values its diversity is richer, more resilient, has more capacity to overcome obstacles and flourish. And that this is also beneficial on an individual level.

Latin American Inclusive Economy Festival

Collaborating with the art of inclusion

The Festival aims at:

  • Generating a space for collective reflection and meaningful conversations that allow us to move towards an inclusive economy, an economy that promotes shared well-being on a healthy planet.
  • Raising awareness of the value of diversity and the inclusion of all nature, including the diverse human nature in different contexts: labor, entrepreneurship, education and social contexts.
  • Including ourselves through art, which acts as a vehicle for dialogue and a bridge between realities

An invitation to redesign our coexistence

The roots of the festival – towards an Inclusive Economy

This Festival is designed from a systemic perspective. It contemplates everybody’s experiences, including people with disabilities. We believe in an economy based on a shared prosperity that expands the opportunities and wellbeing of all people.

We will start a tour of the different conversation spaces to reduce the existing gap and the fear of the unknown.

Conversation spaces:

Public policies

Are crucial to generate the necessary transformations to live in diversity.
Therefore, all spaces will have moments to reflect on policies and make a call to action.

Opening Ritual

In each space of the Festival there will be an activity to connect with ourselves and help us open ourselves to other people.

Art as a bridge between worlds

The activities of Incluir Para Crecer begin with an invitation to connect with oneself and connect with others from the individual to the collective.

Closing ritual:

Each conversation space will have a closing ritual and records from multiple perspectives.
At the end of each activity we will have a record provided by clowns, artists, students and designers. The scenic, the artistic and the academic at the service of inclusion.

We don’t have to be 100% prepared to include because no one is. We’ll get together with our willingness to learn and navigate this process together in a network.

WHY ATTEND?

1. To achieve a basis of understanding on the value of inclusion for organizations, schools and society at large.

2. To participate in a space of dialogue and co-creation with persons with and without disabilities from various Latin American countries and organizations.

3. To become part of a regional network of organizations, persons, companies, startups and educational institutions with a shared commitment to diversity.

WHO IS IT FOR?

1. Decision-makers in the public sector, entrepreneurship support systems, and companies and schools interested in making progress towards the inclusion of persons with disabilities.

2. Professionals who support inclusion, and organizations of persons with disabilities or working on the rights of persons with disabilities.

3. Persons with disabilities and their families.

4. General public.
